Whether it's a primary residence, vacation home or commercial cabin, Big Dog Log Homes offers quality, cost-effective construction solutions to fit almost any budget. Founded by Randy Homola, an industry veteran with over 20 years experience, Big Dog Log Home Company was created to serve the customer instead of the log home manufacturers. Randy is a licensed North Carolina General Contractor who has completed turnkey log home construction projects of various styles and sizes throughout the country. He has built cabins ranging from 400 square up to 2,500 square feet, and custom hand-crafted log homes up to 10,000 square feet. An avid outdoorsman, Randy has lived the log home lifestyle most of his life. In fact, he built his own log home over 20 years ago in which he still lives. Additionally, Randy has taught log home construction classes at Alamance Community College and Wake Technical Community College. In his spare time, Randy enjoys spending time with his wife of 30 years, his 3 dogs and 2 cats. He also enjoys almost any type of outdoor-related activity and goes gold prospecting whenever he gets a chance.
